We Practice Integrative Medicine.

Integrative medicine embraces many therapies and includes a unique blend of traditional western medicine and holistic medicine. We emphasize holistic therapies based on careful research, proven results and ongoing study. We also embrace the many positive attributes of western medicine such as superb emergency medicine and critical care skill, advanced dental and surgical techniques, effective and safe medicine for infections, arthritis, inflammation, pain and may highly sophisticated diagnostic tools.

We also utilize a wide variety of alternative and complementary therapies designed to promote total healing and overall wellness. While some of our therapies may seem unorthodox, we assure you that all of our holistic therapies have real science behind them and a certain depth to their wisdom that predates western medicine.

For your pet’s best health we make it a point to blend both holistic and western medicine so as to make sure your pet receives the best care possible. This integrated approach offers us the best tools — at the best time — for your pet’s best health. Here at Waite Park Veterinary Hospital, your pet’s health is top priority.

Mission

At Waite Park Veterinary Hospital we have made it our mission to provide your pets with a superior level of health care. If we want our pets to have the best quality of life, health care is so much more than merely drugs and surgery. We practice complete integrative health care, which includes the conventional use of drugs and surgery and more non-traditional, holistic medicine.

The care we give your pet is the same kind of care that we would give to our own pets. We have brought the best of advanced training from a wide variety of medical disciplines to help you learn how to keep your pet healthy. And if your pet should ever become ill, we offer many more modalities than the average veterinary hospital.

We offer advanced medical diagnostics as well as Chinese herbal medicine, traditional herbal medicine, advanced surgical techniques, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (a type of chiropractic adjustment) and energetic therapies like Applied Kinesiology.

And while it is very important to have the latest medical tools and training to take care of your pet, we never let our years of medical training outsmart our common sense and courtesy. We understand that you have trusted us with the care of your pet and we place a high value on this partnership. We do our best to make sure that you fully understand the treatment before we begin. We will also work with you to help your pet get better and maintain good health.

Medical care for your pet should never be a mystery. We make sure that we answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have, and that our recommendations make sense to you. We will work closely with you to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible.
